2. 5A is more powerful Texas Instruments sends MaxCharge fast charging technology

Zhongguancun Online News: With the increasing popularity of Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 and MTK Pump Express two fast charging technologies, Texas Instruments has finally released MaxCharge fast charging technology.

According to sources, TI (Texas Instruments) has released MaxCharge fast-charge product samples to core supply chain partners including Xiaomi, bringing BQ25895 (high-end version), BQ25892 (OTG version), BQ25890 (OTG version). Three fast charging solutions.

Compared with the existing 5V 2A input charging speed, these three ICs input currents up to 5A, more than double the charging current, and can reduce the charging time by up to 60%, although the current flow doubles but the heat is generated. Doubled. MaxCharge fast charging technology not only has a strong charging current, but even the input voltage can reach a level of up to 14V, which is backward compatible with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0's 9V, 12V two-speed voltage, and MTK Pump Express's 7V, 9V, 12V support is also more Nothing to say.

Editor's comment: For TI (Texas Instruments), there is clearly no Qualcomm and MTK in the mobile phone market. Although the MaxCharge technical data is very attractive, but under the three-party attack of QC2.0, PE, USB PD, whether it can adapt to the market, it depends on the performance of its official introduction of equipment.
