　　Molex announces a rugged Imperium high voltage/high current (HVHC) connector system that delivers reliable performance even under the most extreme shock and vibration conditions found in today's commercial vehicles. Ideal for hybrid and purely electric technology, these connectors handle up to 1000V and 250.0A per contact, providing excellent shielding performance and current density for vehicle OEMs and electrical system designers.

　　The Imperium HVHC system features an integrated MX150 High-Voltage Interlock Loop (HVIL) crimp terminal that helps eliminate high voltage arcing during disconnection and ensures operator safety. The closed-loop 360-degree shield design with grounded spacers provides EMI and RFI mitigation for more reliable in-vehicle communication, while the connector end shield simplifies the equipment manufacturer's grounding process. One-piece contacts (in plugs and sockets) reduce the resistance and reduce power consumption.
 
　　Moreover, protective insulating plugs and socket contact covers meet touch-proof industrial safety requirements. These connectors are rated for IP6K9K performance when mated, providing fluid protection in harsh environments.
